SHORT biography

He graduated from Silvania National College in Zalau with a High School Diploma in Mathematics
and Computer Science and followed-up with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the
Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. His main interests were electric machines and drives, electric
traction and power electronics. He did a series of internships, first was a summer internship at
Maccon GmbH in Munchen, Germany and an Erasmus internship at the same company. There he
study about Machine dynamic model of the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine and Switched
Reluctance Motor. His master thesis was Real-time simulation of electric power steering system.
Currently he is a PhD student at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca under the supervision of
Professor Claudia Martis and occupies a research assistant position in the Advanced Technologies
for Intelligent Urban Electric Vehicles (URBIVEL) project.
