SHORT biography

She graduated from Silvania National College in her home town, Zalau, Romania, with a High School
Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2016 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca where her points of interest were
electric machines and drives. During her Bachelor studies, she did a 6 months Erasmus internship at
Siemens PLM Software, Leuven, Belgium. There, her focus was on designing and analyzing the
Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine. Her master thesis was Performance Evaluation of a
Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor Used for Light Electric Vehicle propulsion.
Currently she is a PhD student at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca under supervision of Professor
Claudia Martis and also occupies a research assistant position at the same institute, in the Advanced
Technologies for Intelligent Urban Electric Vehicles (URBIVEL) project.
